well all in all this shows you all the sides of Bakura. as Akifa (and that is his real name) has many sides i searched desperately to find a picture of ALL the sides. there's angry, calm(as calm as he gets anyway) scary, psychotic, and of course GORGEOUS! but he also has his semi good side and i would love to show you but i don't have a pic YET! i shall find one. but i know that there is some good in him! i know it! he even risked his life for Ryou once! Final word: all in all he's a complex character and only a few people could actually figure his motives, methods, and thinking pattern. he's a genius and there's no denying that he HAS an evil side to him. Akifa is my all time fave character because he's got...style and flair. he makes it clear that when he does something bad/illegal you know its him.

coolness factor: *smiles* let me think...on a scale of 1 to 10...100. why: well...i love his love of blood. his wonderful charm and great looks. he's an intricate web of enigmas and i love to watch him think and plot. because i am, in some ways, set on the same frequency as him.

and here's older Malik. remember this is Post-Psycho Yami Trauma (or PPYT) yet he still looks so hot....how does he do that?

WELL DUH! of course he's evil! but he's Bakura's buddy, so he still rules! MALIK RULES!!! he should be pharaoh instead of that idiotic Yami...*smiles* guess ya know who's side I'M on.









now i will seperately speak on Malik and his Yami because they ARE two seperate people. my work for malik turned up alot of things that seem almost....unbelieveable. he came from a well-to-do family and threw it away for power. but again that does appear to be a classic "villain" profile. (example, Pegasus.) but i do know that Malik's been through a lot that would assist his "derrangement" and cause the anger he oh-so-uniquely expresses towards...well...everyone. especially Yami. in fact his anger and rage were so strong that they managed to manifest themselves into an actual HUMAN (well close enough) and unfortunately that manifestation was a psycho. he has one goal and that is to become pharaoh. sadly no one has explained the concept of democracy to him. (MALIK FOR PRESIDENT, YEAH!!!!)

Final Word: totally introverted. he never really expresses any emotion aside from hatred. but that is always a party as long as he isn't mad at you. and although he DOES have SOME control over his Yami its never really enough. he can stop his Yami, yes, but he CAN NOT control him. Malik is evil but his evil spawns from a troubled past and a disturbing lie. the back carving thing kinda scared me but i do believe that it is a KEY piece of the puzzle that is your resentment for Yami. the belief that Yami willed his Father's murder is another.

coolness factor: 9 out of 10. why: yes Malik is a great person and i love the way he smirks...but i think the troubled past and unbridled rage towards the hero (and let's face it, Yami IS the hero) is a little old hat. but he gets a 9 for SUPER COOL PSYCHONESS. even without his Yami, Malik IS a BAD ARSE! and COME ON he has a MOTORCYCLE!!! anyone that looks that good AND has a motorcycle wins...



mmm nice pants *coughs* i'm sorry. anyway this is, of course, the cause of the PPYT. Yami Malik...wow he ain't bad lookin either! *stares at the pic* he's so prettyful! GOLD!! yes Malik has a thing for gold but seeing as how he is egyptian (modern egypt not ancient) its to be expected. i wouldn't be surprised if he stole gold from the pharaoh's (that's yami) tomb and melted it down into those bracelets and such. i would ^_^

at this point i would like to bring something up. the proper spelling for Malik is Mariku. see the Kanji "K" sounds like the english "L" and the "U" is silent. Marik is the english semi-right way to say it. though i do call him Malik i am aware of the info above.

this is SUPER PSYCHO yami Malik. he scares alot of people but i bet on the inside he just wants a friend. *scoffs* yeah right







okay you guys want the dish on Yami Malik, huh? well great. i'll tell ya anything i can. lets start with the basics. unlike the other Yami's, Marik (as i call him) was not IN Ancient Egypt. he was, instead, created out of rage towards Malik's father who was at the time hasslied Lishid, Malik's best friend and care taker. Marik killed the offending father and told Malik that 'Yami willed it' which causes Malik's temporary lapses in niceness. *sigh* UNfortunately any and all information after that is so FREAKIN HARD TA FIND...but i won't give up on it. i know for a fact that Marik is EVIL INCARNATE! he cares for no one and follows his own agenda always. he loves torturing and killing people. even Akifa fights against Marik's evilness (and yes that IS a word!) much to my dismay Marik is said to have KILLED akifa. which of course makes me want to HURT HIM! only one thing is for sure. Marik doesn't care who's life he's taking. whether it be some stranger on the street, or even his Hikari Malik. the disturbing fact is almost too obvious to Malik and he even turns to Akifa (*smiles*) for assistance. apparently i found all the info i was looking for but i couldn't get it up. so i have like maybe a five sentences about him. ok Marik DOES kill Akifa but Akifa comes back INSIDE the millennium Rod. while Marik is in it mind you. so Marik and Akifa form a partnership to work together to get the puzzle and kill yugi. but Akifa's true intention is to backstab Marik and steal the puzzle from him. not surprising that Marik has the same plan. Marik actually has a BIG crush on TEA after he saved her from getting run over. Marik isn't an all bad character, we just see the evil side more than the good.

rating: 11 out of 10. Marik's cooler than Mailk but so much less than Yami Bakura. Marik might have gotten more points if not for that Tea thing...*shakes her head* terrible....ihate tea SOOOO much! oh well...

coolness rating: mmmm he gets a 15 outta 10. he's a kawaii bishie and shows it well with those pants. mmm mmm mmmmmmmm
